Extra-Virgin Cod Liver Oil

Traces of rosemary herb & natural vitamin E (as antioxidants)
WHAT DOES EVCLO LIQUID TASTE LIKE?
Our Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil is a pure natural healthy product which most people find to be mild in taste. Nature determines how fishy it tastes and some batches are stronger than others. Other "standardised oils" go through very industrial manufacturing processes which not only strip out the flavour but also key benefits of taking the oil in the first place. You may choose to wash it down with chilled water or natural juice to get rid of the fishy taste, alternatively you can have it just before a meal. The Rosita method includes a natural filtration process that takes out more of the fishy tasting proteins but retains the array of beneficial fats and the all important natural vitamins. Please remember to give the bottle a gentle shake before use to distribute the different fats that may settle into layers within the bottle - including the rosemary oil which may be unpleasant otherwise.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EVCLO?
Rosita Real Foods Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil contains a complete range of raw omega fats including omega 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 11 fats. It is particularly rich in the long-chain omega-3s (EPA and DHA) which are also known as essential fats because the body cannot make them from scratch. Our cod liver oil also contains a great natural source of Vitamin A and Vitamin D. It is free from synthetic nutrients and contains all of the potent, naturally occurring biologically active nutrients which make it effective, and in the exact form present in a living codfish liver. For example, vitamin A is predominately in the retinol form and vitamin D is predominately in the cholecalciferol (D3) form. Choosing the natural form over a synthetic version means the nutrients are highly bioavailable and easy to absorb, digest and assimilate in your body.
IS ROSITA COD LIVER OIL FROM A SUSTAINABLE SOURCE?
Our ethos is to work with nature to supply the highest quality health-giving oils available. Rosita products are sustainably sourced from wild fish stocks in the pristine waters of Norway. EVCLO is a "living oil" derived from wild and abundant Norwegian codfish. It is produced in small batches from Wild Cod (Gadus morhua) sustainably harvested from the pristine waters of Norway.
HOW IS THE OIL EXTRACTED FROM THE COD LIVER?
Rosita Real Foods oils are pure natural premium Extra-Virgin oils. We do not use any heat, pressure or metal containers or treatment in the Rosita Method, and this is very important. These oils are very delicate and must not be heated, extracted through pressure or exposed to air or metal in the process. The fish and extraction process receive special treatment, with each liver inspected and only the best chosen and placed in a dark, oxygen-free environment. The oil is naturally released when the cod livers are exposed to temperatures slightly higher than the ocean, and great care is taken to monitor this process to ensure the oils retain their freshness and purity. Fish liver residuals are separated from the raw oil by use of a decanter and contaminants are removed without the use of heat or chemicals using a patented method and naturally occuring material. The oil is then placed in cold storage in the absence of oxygen and light, which keeps the oil fresh while it is tested for purity before being bottled.
